Reflecting on Love
Love is one of the most sought out things in life. We naturally seek forms of love in all relationships, platonic and non-platonic. Having over 20 different definitions, love is both a noun and a verb: something that is and an action that can be given/received. We are taught from an early age what love should be. We are raised on fairy tales and fallacies based on experiences or hopes of what love could be. Yet, no one can say how love should feel or be for each person experiencing it. Everyone has a belief of what it is but even we, ourselves, can barely differentiate between the type of love we want and the love we need. Understanding how you receive and give love is essential to healthy connections, so I am sharing something, previously shared with me, to help you reflect on the love you experience in your relationships:
